Leadership Training

Identify, cultivate & develop the next generation of Latino & Latina Leaders.

CLLARO will offer campaign development and leadership training workshops to prepare future Colorado Latino and Latina leaders to run for public office, manage a political campaign or serve on a board or commission as an appointee or trustee.

Public Policy

Develop & Advance the Colorado Latino public policy agenda.

CLLARO will host summits and forums to discuss key topics and develop broad strategies in the areas of education, immigration, criminal justice, health, Latinos in the media, economic development, LGBTQ, and energy and environment.

CLLARO will also engage in public education regarding the negative and positive impact of state and federal legislation, policies and practices affecting Colorado Latinas and Latinos.l

Research

Advance Latino-focused research to guide policy & increase awareness & stimulate action.

CLLARO will reinstate secondary analysis of existing data to produce research briefs on various topics, including population growth, educational advancement, and economic policies and practices.

New research projects will rely on primary data collection in the areas of education, electoral participation, immigration and health.

Reports of findings and conclusions will reach a policy and decision-makers through a targeted dissemination of written reports.

Civic Engagement

Empower Latinos to get involved, participate & create change.

CLLARO will collaborate with other non-profits, allies and strategic partners to increase voter outreach, education on issues and electoral participation.

Advocacy

Promoting the interests of the Latino Community

CLLARO will engage decision makers in the public and private sectors to advocate for just and fair policies and practices.

Center for Partnership

Building a community-action center for the Colorado Community.

CLLARO will work to foster partnerships and collaborations with community based organizations and informal advocacy groups.
