Milo Marquez

A 5th generation Denver native, Milo Marquez grew up in Denver's Eastside community where he attended Denver Public Schools.  Following high school, he moved to San Francisco's bay area, where he obtained an administrative justice degree and spent the next 20 years working as a corporate fraud investigator throughout the Western United States.  Upon his return to Denver, he obtained a special education degree, with a focus in history from Metropolitan State University of Denver.  Milo spent 6 years working with students with emotional and behavioral disorders and learning disabilities in both public and private school settings. 

Milo Marquez currently serves as the Director of the Latino Action Council where he is working to increase the political influence of Latinos in Colorado and advocate for the Latino community across the state.
