The first Salute to Seniors was held in 1990 with a guest performance by actress Alice Faye. Since then, The Salute has featured entertainers such as Jerry Mathers (“Leave It To Beaver”), Shirley Jones (“The Partridge Family”), Arthur Duncan (“The Lawrence Welk Show”), and Jack LaLanne (“The Jack LaLanne Show”). Our resource fair and expo brings together over 100 exhibitors showcasing support services, housing options, social experiences, educational opportunities, health care resources and more.

Medicare Monday: Educational Medicare sessions across Colorado to help older adults understand the changes to Medicare for the upcoming year during Medicare Open Enrollment. Individual counseling is available after educational sessions.

Holiday Baskets for Low Income Older Adults: As part of our commitment to serving those in the most need in our community, The Society annually organizes a food drive to fill 200 baskets with food and presents for low-income seniors who will be spending the holidays alone and have no friends or family in the area.

More About Organization |

The Society is committed to providing information and resources to individuals and their families searching for assistance with housing and care options. We have taken the Housing and Home Care sections of our Colorado Senior Resource Guidebook and created a dynamic online took for older adults, families, friends, caregivers and professionals in the aging field.
