Graciela Franco

Operations Manager

Graciela Franco was born in Mexico and migrated to the United States with her family at the age of 4. Raised by her single mother, alongside her 3 older sisters, Graciela overcame the challenges of becoming a mother at a young age and being undocumented. She graduated high school with her class of 2011 and became a DACA recipient in 2012. Graciela’s obstacles have pushed her to always excel in any opportunity, to be resourceful and use innovative strategies when leveraging opportunities for herself and others. She has a great passion for cultural justice and hopes to help elevate the Latino community and seek a higher degree of professional excellence through her work with CLLARO.

She has become a mentor and influencer for many people and young women in her community due to her personal self-development journey, positive philosophical mindset, emotional intelligence and intellectual leadership. Due to her self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset, she has translated her vision through her small business, Boss Bae Lashes, launched March 2020.  Her entrepreneurial spirit is driven by her motivation of achieving individual attainment which allows her to effectively demonstrate superior executive ability under a variety of circumstances.

Graciela previously worked as a Paralegal for 5 years at a Boulder law firm, where she exhibited professionalism while proactively engaging with clients and served as a liaison to communicate through legal case proceedings. In addition to this, she provided support to refugee clients regarding their immigration court proceedings through a local pro-bono organization.

Furthermore, she worked as the Academic Interpretation Services Manager and Interpreter for One World Translation, providing services to many local school districts and counties such as DPS, Adams12, Jeffco, Adams and Denver County. She has also provided administrative support to United We Lead Foundation with their Parent Virtual Academy and Latinapreneur cohorts.

Graciela is constantly working on expanding her network through social business events and focuses on collaborating with other Latina entrepreneurs and small businesses. Aside from the non-profit and professional work, she mainly enjoys spending time with her son, traveling, reading and self-development.
