Ingrid Wicker is the Operations and Development Manager of the Colorado Latino Leadership Advocacy and Research Organization (CLLARO). She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization including the management of Accounting and Financial systems, Information Technology and coordination of Fundraising and Donors relations.
Ingrid received her BD from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and her Masters in Information Technology Management from Universidad TecMilenio. Six years ago, after her fifteen-year successful career in Mexico City directing Web and Multimedia projects related to Marketing and Training, Ingrid decided it was time for a change of scenery (and weather) and moved to Colorado. She learned English by herself and within a year she was offered a position at the John Corcoran Foundation. There she put together her technology expertise with her passion to help the underprivileged immigrant families who struggle with their children’s reading skills. She served as the Operations and IT Manager. In addition to her busy schedule she always finds time to be learning a new language or technology skills. Ingrid loves reading science fiction and is an enthusiastic Nuggets fan. She is usually volunteering to collaborate on IT projects for nonprofits. She currently resides in Lakewood with her family and a number of cats always changing.
